Below is current support capabilities for custom SMS sender IDs, or alphanumeric sender ID worldwide. View the countries below for guidelines on sending Programmable SMS messages to this locale (where available).

Note: Some countries may require registration of the desired alphanumeric sender ID prior to sending messages from this ID. These countries are marked Pre-Registration Required in the table below.

Alpha Sender ID PRE REG REQUIRED = Must contact support – Some territories will restrict message content if unregistered eg Philippines shortened URL etc. Contact your system admin for more info

AU Long Code Overwrite = May be used in territories where the local shared pool or VN are not available or yet to be provisioned

Long Code (Virtual Number) = With the exception of AU, all Virtual number orders must be placed via the account order form

Short Code Shared Pool = Typically NZ must be placed via account order form
